Christmas Reading

One of my favorite Christmas stories of all time is A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote. It's about a young boy named Buddy, his elderly Cousin Sook, and their dog, Queenie.

Most of Capote's books are for mature audiences, but A Christmas Memory is appropriate for the young as well as the young at heart. I recommend it for ages one to one hundred.

Mommy and I like to curl up under a blanket and read it together every December. It always makes us cry...
