Mr. Frank: I'm glad we finally ditched your blog intern after the concert. I wanted this evening to be all about us, Doll.
Lilly Faye: Dizzie's a good boy. He's just young, and a bit overly enthusiastic. I was touched when he asked Trombone Shorty to play our song.
Mr. Frank: Shorty blows a mean horn, and he knocked it out of the park playing At Last.
Lilly Faye: You've really gone all out tonight, Frank. Fresh Crab, French wine, and French chocolates!
Mr. Frank: That's not all, Doll. This little blue velvet box is for you. Open it.
Lilly Faye: Squeal!
Lilly Faye: Oh, Frank, it's a pearl and diamond bracelet! I love it!
Mr. Frank: It's an engagement bracelet, Doll. Try it on.
Lilly Faye: It fits my wrist perfectly!
Mr. Frank: You're wearing my pearls, and I'm wearing your heart on my collar.
Mr. Frank: We're not getting any younger, Doll. Let's not waste any more time. Let's get married.
Lilly Faye: But Frank, you already asked me to marry you, and I said yes.
Mr. Frank: I mean let's get married right now, Doll. Let's elope.
Lilly Faye: Elope? But we have responsibilities.
Mr. Frank: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
Lilly Faye: Besides marrying you? Sometimes I dream of modeling again.
Mr. Frank: I've always dreamed of studying at Le Cordon Bleu. We can have it all, Doll. Let's just do it. Let's elope to Paris.
Paris! Tempting. What is a girl to do? Decisions decisions.

I know, Muffin! Frank wants to leave right away. I don't have much time to decide!
DeleteHe can go to cooking school while you go shopping for French fashion. Perfect! ;-)
ReplyDelete-- Echo Sheltie
It does sound perfect, doesn't it, Echo? I get excited just thinking about it!
DeleteI'm happy for both of them! Frank is so suave. He's got game. Wow! Paris ?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Martha! I'm so excited, my head is spinning! It was a magical evening, and Frank looked so handsome in his tie. When he asked me to elope, it took an extra moment for it to sink in!
