Merry Christmas! (Part 2)

Mr. Frank: Your Christmas present isn't just feeding the hungry, Doll Face. I also have something for you to open.

Lilly Faye: I have something for you, too, Frank. Open yours first.

Mr. Frank: They're just what I wanted, Doll Face! How did you know? Now open your present!

Lilly Faye: Frank, it's a portrait of you! I'll put it on my nightstand and look at it every night before I go to sleep. And I love this beautiful box with the pink bling on it!

Mr. Frank: It's a jewelry box. Look inside!

Lilly Faye: Oh, Frank, this necklace is gorgeous, and it's a perfect fit. You must have busked for months to be able to afford it.

Mr. Frank: It belonged to my Great-Grandma Francis. I want you to have it, Doll Face. Grandma would have approved.

Lilly Faye: And here is a card from you. Read it to me, Frank.

Mr. Frank: (Reads)
Merry Christmas Doll Face! You've made this mug real happy when you said yes to being my girl. When my restaurant opens I want you right there on my arm baby. I'm gonna give you the world Doll. The moon too if you want it. Who loves you Doll Face? This Guy! Love, Frank

Lilly Faye:  Oh Frank, these are the most romantic presents and card I ever got! Thank you!

Mr. Frank: Merry Christmas, Doll Face.

Lilly Faye: Merry Christmas, Frank!

Dear Readers,
Merry Christmas to each and every one of you from everyone here at the blog!

Love,
Lilly Faye

Merry Christmas! (Part 1)

Mr. Frank: What am I going to give Doll Face for Christmas? I want to give her something special, but she asked Santa for world peace, an end to hunger, and some bling. I can't give her any of that. It's hopeless!

Ceecee: Nothing is ever hopeless, Frank. Put your thinking cap on!

Mr. Frank: What to do? What to do? What to do? Peace? Hunger? Bling?

Mr. Frank: Ceecee, I've got it!

Ding-dong!

Mr. Frank: Merry Christmas, Doll Face!

Lilly Faye: Hi, Frank. Come on in!

Mr. Frank: Remember how you asked Santa Claus for an end to hunger? Well, we can't feed the entire world, but we can feed our part of it. I cooked up a bunch of food, and I'd be honored if you'd go with me to serve Christmas meals at our local shelters.

Lilly Faye: That's a brilliant idea, Frank! You're a wonderful boyfriend!

Mr. Frank: Smooch! And that's not all!

To be continued...

All I Want for Christmas

Mr. Frank: Hi, Doll Face. Want to go caroling with me tonight?

Lilly Faye: Sure, Frank. That sounds like fun.

Mr. Frank: Bring your tambourine. I'm bringing my tuba. I've been practicing lots of Christmas songs.

Lilly Faye: Okay. I was writing my letter to Santa before you got here. How does this sound?
Dear Santa Claus,
I have been a pretty good girl this year. I know you already brought me a tin of yummy cookies, but I am also asking for world peace, an end to hunger, and a little bling for myself.
Love,
Lilly Faye

Mr. Frank: Wow, that's a tall order! Say, about those cookies...

Lilly Faye: I'm sorry I can't offer you one of them, Frank. I lost control and ate them all. They were the best cookies I ever had.

Mr. Frank: Really?! Thanks!

Lilly Faye: What?

Mr. Frank: Never mind, Doll Face. I'm just glad Santa left them for you.

Lilly Faye: You only have to believe, Frank, and good things will come to you, too!

Christmas Shopping with the One I Love

Mr. Frank: That's three bags...

Mr. Frank: Five...

Mr. Frank: Seven...I think this is the last of them, Doll Face.

Lilly Faye: My purse is still in the car, Frank.

Mr. Frank: And your purse.

Mr. Frank: Is that everything?

Lilly Faye: Yep. That's all of them.

Lilly Faye: Thanks for taking me Christmas shopping, Frank. I never could have managed everything by myself.

Lilly Faye: You're a good boyfriend, Frank. Kiss, kiss.

Mr. Frank: Anything for you, Doll Face. Smooch!

Next door, a few minutes later...

Ceecee: So how was the shopping trip, Frank?

Mr. Frank: Ask me tomorrow, after I've had a chance to recover. Yawn.

Happy Anniversary!

Mr. Frank: I don't know what I'm going to give Doll Face for Christmas, Ceecee. She's probably expecting something fancy, and I don't have any money.

Ceecee: Be honest with her Frank, and the sooner, the better. If she really cares about you, she won't mind.

Ding-dong, ding-dong. Knock, knock, knock.

Lilly Faye: Oh, hello Frank. This is a surprise.

Mr. Frank: Happy anniversary, Doll Face!

Lilly Faye: How romantic! And we've only been going steady for two weeks!

Mr. Frank: What? I meant today's the anniversary of your blog. I baked you a carrot cake topped with mascarpone cheese and pecans to celebrate.

Lilly Faye: Oh, that's right. The blog is one year-old today. It was very thoughtful of you to remember, Frank.

Come on in. I'll get dressed and put the teakettle on.

Lilly Faye: It was very sweet of you to bake me such a yummy cake, Frank. I could get used to this!

Mr. Frank: Anything for you, Doll Face.

I'm glad I caught you alone. I wanted to discuss our Christmas plans.

Knock, knock, knock.

Dizzie: Hey Boss, are you in there? I thought I smelled cake.

Mr. Frank: Aaaggghhh!
