My Romantic Date With Frank (Part 2)

Mr. Frank: Wait for me, Doll!

Mr. Frank: Doll? Where are you?

Mr. Frank: Oh no, I've lost Doll Face!

Lilly Faye: Here I am, Frank. I thought you were right behind me.

Mr. Frank: (Panting) You can't just take off on me, Doll. You're a sprinter, and I'm what you'd call more grounded.

Lilly Faye: I'm sorry. I got carried away by the smell of soup!

It's a sign, Frank. Remember last summer, when you made me soup after my dental surgery? And in November, you asked me to go steady with you over a bowl of your homemade soup.

Now we're on our special date, and I smell soup! It can't be a coincidence. I think it means we're on the right track. Let's follow the scent and see where that delicious smell is coming from.

Mr. Frank: Look, Doll!

Mr. Frank: You were right, it really is a sign!

Lilly Faye: Frank, we have to have some!

Mr. Frank: They have homemade chili.

Lilly Faye: I'm sure yours is better.

Mr. Frank: Lobster Bisque?

Lilly Faye: That's too rich for lunch.

Mr. Frank: The only other choices are Minestrone and Italian Wedding Soup. Should we be bold and try the Wedding Soup, Doll?

Lilly Faye: I'm willing, if you are, Frank. Let's share a bowl.

Mr. Frank: I'll go in and place our order.

Mr. Frank: Here comes the server with our soup.

Slurp, slurp, slurp

After lunch...

Mr. Frank: That Wedding Soup was delicious.

Lilly Faye: I think we made the right choice.

Lilly Faye: Today was perfect, Frank.

Mr. Frank: I don't know how it could have turned out any better, Doll.

Lilly Faye: I do. How 'bout a kiss?

    1. Thank you! I do know some handsome single dogs. I'll tell them to stop by for a visit, if they're ever in Alabama!
